Our services
-
We do regular checkups for children from birth through 21 years old. We do these check-ups to ensure that your child is meeting growth and development milestones, as well as answer any questions or concerns about their health and happiness.
While checking up on their physical health, we also give guidance on topics such as: nutrition, behavior, and immunizations so that parents are fully armed with holistic knowledge about their child’s healthcare. -
We have a dedicated Same-day care clinic open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm to care for any same-day appointments. We offer in-house testing for Flu, RSV, and Strep. We also work with local companies, just a couple of blocks away, for imaging services.
If it is an emergency, please dial 911 and seek emergent medical care. -
We offer prenatal appointments to expectant Moms and Spouses to discuss any questions or concerns about our practice, the first appointment, and general birth plans/expectations.
To schedule a prenatal visit, call the office anytime the practice is open and we will schedule you to establish care with one of our amazing providers!
-
For more complex concerns that parents and guardians would like to discuss in depth, such as behavior, nutrition, or vaccine guidance, we can schedule focused discussions. Our providers can give guidance on a variety of pediatric health topics so that both the caregiver and provider can feel confident in a long term plan for the children.
-
Our practice offers medication management for both long term/chronic medical conditions and for acute sick care concerns. The providers work with you, the caregiver, to ensure that your child is receiving the appropriate medication for their needs.

We provide full-scope pediatric care Monday through Friday through a collaborative care model.
Nurse practitioners are available daily and provide primary pediatric care across both preventive and acute visits. Dr. White is in the office five days per week, where he sees patients, supports nurse practitioner care, and oversees clinical and administrative functions.
Our Growth & Guidance Clinic (Suite 911) is the home for preventive health visits, annual physical exams, scheduled consultations, behavioral health visits, and management of stable or non-urgent chronic conditions. Appointments are scheduled with a primary nurse practitioner or Dr. White, depending on provider schedule availability.
To schedule your child’s next preventive health visit or annual physical exam, please call our office during standard hours. We look forward to seeing you!
if you want to schedule your first visit as a new patient, please first fill out our New Patient Inquiry Forms on our New Patient Page. This helps ensure we have sufficient clinical information to provide safe, individualized care from the first visit.
If you are expecting a baby and would like to schedule your child’s first visit, please call the office on the day of birth. We typically see newborns for their first visit within 3–5 days after delivery.
Our Care & Recovery Clinic (Suite 1211) provides same-day or next-day access for acute concerns and time-sensitive issues. Visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure timely access for urgent needs.

Our practice provides evidence-based pediatric care aligned with recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics, including the Bright Futures preventive care schedule. We focus on delivering high-value care—prioritizing interventions that are supported by strong evidence and widely recommended as part of routine pediatric health maintenance. This approach ensures care that is consistent, efficient, and aligned with current standards used across pediatric practices and healthcare systems.
Our care model is built around a collaborative team approach.
In most cases, patients will establish an ongoing relationship with a nurse practitioner who provides the majority of routine and preventive care. This allows for consistent access and continuity over time.
Dr. White works alongside this team, supervising care and becoming directly involved when clinical complexity, acuity, or specific concerns call for physician-level evaluation. Dr. White maintains a limited schedule for routine visits; however, his primary role within the practice is focused on higher-complexity care, in-depth consultations, and real-time support for urgent or evolving concerns.
This structure is designed to ensure both accessibility for everyday care and availability of physician expertise when additional depth is needed.

Rocket City Pediatrics will charge a fee to your family balance for the following:
No Show Appt : $50
Same Day Cancellation $50
We classify an appointment as a no-show if no one has checked in at the front desk at 15 minutes or more past the scheduled appointment time. At that point we will add a $50 charge to the family balance and we will need to reschedule the appointment. This policy aims to ensure everyone at the practice gets prompt care and consideration of their health.
