Job Title: Medical Scribe
Location: Rocket City Pediatrics, Huntsville, Alabama
Pay: Starting at $15/hour
Position Type: Part-Time – Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Scribe to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Medical Scribe at Rocket City Pediatrics, you will work closely with our pediatrician and healthcare providers to document patient interactions, ensuring accurate and timely medical records. This role is essential for streamlining our office operations and allowing our provider to focus more on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately document patient encounters, including history, examination findings, and treatment plans
Enter information into electronic health records (EHR) systems in real-time
Assist in managing and organizing medical charts and other documentation
Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to clarify any details or obtain additional
information as needed
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards for documentation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in health sciences or a related field is preferred
Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is required
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Proficient in typing and familiar with electronic health record systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
